Abstract

This Uganda Standard specifies requirements and general principles to be followed by forest management teams, managers, employees and contractors in all aspects of plantation establishment and maintenance. The standard also fulfils obligations to provide rules acceptable to other regulatory authorities, the community and the forest industries, for the conduct of plantation establishment and maintenance operations within forests.
