This Uganda Standard specifies requirements and sampling methods for edible mushrooms, the carpophores (fruiting bodies) of strains grown from the genus Agaricus (syn. Psalliota) to be supplied fresh to the consumer. This standard does not apply to mushrooms for industrial processing.
