Abstract

"This Uganda Standard specifies design and performance criteria arising out of the combination of a reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engine and an alternating current (a.c.) generator when operating as a unit. This unit can run paralleling or not to the grid. (This standard cancels and replaces the first edition, US ISO 8528-5:2013, Reciprocating internal combustion engine driven alternating current generating sets -Part 5: Generating sets, which has been technically revised). This standard was published on 2021-12-14.
