Abstract

This Uganda Standard covers the types of preservatives and method of treatment of bamboos and canes, used both indoor and outdoor for non-structural purposes. It also includes recommendations on the choice of treatment depending on the various uses to which the bamboo and cane are put. This standard does not cover the treatment of bamboo meant for structural purposes. This standard was published on 2020-12-15.
