Abstract

This Uganda Standard provides requirements for organic production. It covers plant production, animal husbandry, aquaculture, sustainable fisheries, bee-keeping, the harvesting of wild products, and the processing and labelling of the products therefrom. It does not cover procedures for verification such as inspection or certification of products. (This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition US EAS 456:2007, Organic products standard which has been technically revised). This standard was PUBLISHED on 2019-12-10.
