Abstract

This Uganda Standard specifies requirements for commercial varieties (cultivars) of avocados grown from Persea americana Mill. (Syn. Persea gratissima Gaertn), of the Lauraceae family, to be supplied fresh to the consumer. (This standard cancels and replaces US 3:1992, Standard specification for fresh avocados which has been technically revised).
