Abstract

This Uganda Standard specifies a method for the determination of selenium in drinking water, surface water, groundwater, and rainwater in the dynamic range of approximately 0.5 g/l to 20 g/l. Samples containing selenium at higher concentrations than the application range can be analyzed following appropriate dilution. The method is unlikely to detect organoselenium compounds.
