Abstract

This Uganda Standard specifies requirements and methods of sampling and test for commercial varieties of pineapples grown from Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. of the Bromeliaceae family, to be supplied fresh to the consumer. This standard does not apply to pineapples for ornamental use or industrial processing. (This standard cancels and replaces US 2:1992, Standard specification for fresh pineapples, which has been technically revised).
