This Uganda Standard specifies requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspection and for the impartiality and consistency of their inspection activities. It applies to various types of inspection bodies and it applies to any stage of inspection. (This Uganda Standard cancels and replaces US ISO/IEC 17020:1998, General criteria for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection, which has been technically revised). This standard was PUBLISHED on 2013-06-25. THIS STANDARD WAS LAST REVIEWED AND CONFIRMED ON 2019-12-10. THEREFORE THIS VERSION REMAINS CURRENT.
