Ceramic tiles - Part 9: Determination of resistance to thermal shock
This Uganda Standard specifies a test method for determining the resistance to thermal shock of all ceramic tiles under normal conditions of use. Depending on the water absorption of the tiles, different procedures (tests with or without immersion) are used unless there is an agreement to the contrary. (This Uganda Standard cancels and replaces US EAS 422-9:2005, Ceramic tiles - Part 9: Determination of resistance to thermal shock). This standard was PUBLISHED on 2014-07-31. THIS STANDARD WAS LAST REVIEWED AND CONFIRMED ON 2019-12-10. THEREFORE THIS VERSION REMAINS CURRENT.
