This Uganda Standard specifies a horizontal method for the enumeration of viable yeasts and moulds in products intended for human consumption or feeding of animals that have a water activity greater than 0.95 [eggs, meat, dairy products (except milk powder), fruits, vegetables, fresh pastes, etc.], by means of the colony count technique at 25 Degrees Celicius +/- 1 Degrees Celicius. This standard was PUBLISHED on 2012-12-18. THIS STANDARD WAS LAST REVIEWED AND CONFIRMED ON 2019-12-10. THEREFORE THIS VERSION REMAINS CURRENT.
