This Uganda Standard applies to commercial varieties of chayotes grown from Sechium edule (Jacq.) Sw., of the Cucurbitaceae family, to be supplied fresh to the consumer, after preparation and packaging. Chayotes for industrial processing are excluded. This standard was PUBLISHED on 2014-07-31.
