Foodstuffs - Method for determination of arsenic
This standard prescribes methods for the determination of arsenic. Modified Gutzeit method of test for arsenic shall be employed in cases, where arsenic content is not needed and only knowledge of limit is desired. In cases where the actual arsenic content is to be determined, the silver diethyldithiocarbamate method shall be followed. The method is applicable to quantities of arsenic (As) greater than 1 ug.
